question mark on its side

How does coaching work?

Coaching is an interactive experience where we discover your goals and your passions and use them to help you travel down a path to the retirement life you want. Coaching is not counselling and couples coaching is not couples counselling. Instead, it is a series of structured discussions where we ask questions to help you consider some key issues and how they will particularly affect you at this time of your life. We hope that at times you will be surprised and delighted, and at other times the process will help you to think and ponder.

How do I know this programme is for me?

Before any commitment we will meet for a 45-minute informal and no obligation session, where we will help you to articulate your expectations, and outline how the programme might work for you. You can ask us anything!

Is it confidential?

100%! What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions.

How long is The Fresh Beginnings Programme?

Initially the programme is four sessions for an individual, six sessions for a couple. However this can be adjusted to suit your personal needs. The minimum number of sessions is three. Depending on the time between sessions it is likely that the whole programme will take between three to four months.

Is there homework?

We will invite you to complete various exercises and use some tools between sessions to help you think more deeply about what you want in this transition phase; what will support you and what will be a barrier to making a successful life change. But hopefully you won’t think of it as “homework”!

Are the coaching meetings face-to-face or on Zoom?

Most clients work with us on Zoom, but we can arrange face-to-face coaching for an additional cost depending on location.
